The project was designed to maximise natural light into the new kitchen area while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance. This full roof replacement was completed to the highest standard, combining durability, ventilation, and a clean modern finish throughout. The roof was fully ventilated using continuous eaves ventilation and dry ridge systems to ensure long-term airflow and performance. The project also included the installation of a new dry valley system, fresh wakka-flex (lead alternative) flashing around the chimney, and brand-new soffits, fascias, and guttering fitted across the entire property. Finished with a smart dry verge system, the completed roof delivers a sharp, maintenance-free appearance with high-quality workmanship visible in every detail.

Similar to our Derby project this short but long extension roof in Hackney, London, involved the installation of a sleek slate roof complete with three Velux roof windows to bring natural light into the newly renovated living space below. The project also included a one-piece rubber (EPDM) gully system, providing a durable and fully watertight finish to allow rain water to exit the roof between sections. Working within a tight urban space, every detail was completed with precision from the clean slate finish to the neatly formed lead-work and roof window detailing. The result is a modern, hard-wearing roof that enhances both the appearance and functionality of the property while creating a brighter and more open interior space.
